These young artists have created wonderful works of bird inspired art. Many birds are busy building their nests in the springtime. I see very well balanced compositions within the picture space.

With guidance, the child could have been assisted in drawing a second leg which would "underlap" the one which they drew. I often use the word "underlap" to refer to the opposite of "overlap" when a shape is drawn behind another shape, with only the visible shapes and lines appearing from behind the shape that is overlapping it in the front.
