Grade 3 Geometric Greek Vases: Acknowledging the Deep Space Sparkle Lesson Plan which inspired this lesson. Students mounted their Greek Vases onto Wall Paper Sample sheets.
Grade 1 Roman Pantheon Collages: Students and I are working with the Art Through the Ages curriculum from Patty Palmer at Deep Space Sparkle!
Grades K-5 Special Ed class created these fun and fanciful Envelope Monster sit up paper sculptures.
Grade 4: Art Through the Ages: The Renaissance time in the Art History of Europe. Shaded Mona Lisa contrasted with a colorful oil pastel line pattern and tempera paint landscape. Students traced the Mona Lisa following the main contour lines. Next, they shaded Mona Lisa to create the illusion of 3D form and realism using charcoal pencils. Students learned about the artist Leonardo DaVinci and his mysterious famous lady! The background was simplified from DaVinci's masterpiece and was given a contemporary, colorful update! Again, thanks to Deep Space Sparkle for another great lesson!
